Many attractive walking routes run through the municipality of Velsen. You can walk through the ‘raw’ harbour area or through the gardens of a beautiful country estate. The routes are all different in length, so that every walker can find something to his or her liking.

Velsen is also part of the walking network. Walkers themselves choose the length and the surroundings of the walk. This can be done at one of the starting points, by choosing a circular route, or by putting together a route using the route planner.
