Fishing at sea and piers

From the Marina Seaport in IJmuiden aan Zee, ships regularly depart to fish for cod or mackerel. A very special experience!

Sea fishing? Take your passport with you!

Anyone wishing to fish at sea must now carry a passport; an identity card is not sufficient. One leaves the Schengen border when leaving any sea port.
